We wish you all the best and are so so thankful you and your firm were able to help our family during the last three years. We don’t know where we would be without the help and guidance of you and McMillan.

Sarah,
I have been meaning to write for months but just got off the phone with a mom, who I believe you are working with, and couldn’t wait!
Thank you, Thank you for all that you do. Listening to her story and worry reminded me how hard this raising kid thing can be but also that there is always a kid at the end of all these conversations.
Kids who are struggling and withdrawing or kids who are striving and getting lost or losing a bit of themselves in the process - all of these kids (and the parents more importantly) have you providing information, opportunities and a gentle reminder of the long journey they are on.
Your advice, connections, knowledge and care is making an extraordinary impact.
My son, while still on the journey, holds his head a little higher because of Red Cliff and is no longer buried under a sweatshirt at school. He is owning his journey and while it will always be bumpy he and we have this remarkable tool kit given our McMillan toolbox.
I smiled when I read and used your nuggets and tidbits in Boston Magazine as once again you all provide a calm adult voice to the room.
I don’t know how you do it especially in this crazy part of the country but I do know every kid that is lucky to have you in their journey will be cared for and advocated for whether in an admissions office or during a parent conversation. I hope you know that the large group of McMillan alumni represent an incredible accomplishment and feat and I know I couldn’t be more grateful!
Thank you!
Bill,
My wife and I cannot thank you enough for your assistance and guidance in transitioning our son to New Hampton. Looking back, I can't believe that only eight weeks ago, we were only beginning to contemplate a move. Everything happened quickly, and there is no way we could have accomplished this without your support. You were thoughtful and empathetic, and your advice was spot on. As you can imagine, it was a stressful time for all of us, but your calm professionalism and your encouragement kept us grounded and focused on the task at hand.
Dear Brendon and dear Don,
This is a belated note to thank you both, and especially Brendon, for your superb guidance and support.
You gave us a clear sense of the challenge at hand, you guided us through this incredibly intricate process, you imposed on us a number of reality checks, you positively ignored our signs of impatience and frustration, and foremost you always kept the ultimate goal in sight.
Thanks to your generous and dedicated assistance, our son truly gave his best. Saturday and Sunday calls were the norm, overnight turnaround of draft essays also.
We will never say thank you enough.
Be certain that we will share our appreciation with Ecole Moser.
Warm regards and best wishes for the holiday season.
Our son heard from Dean and Merrimack! Accepted at both with merit scholarships! Lasell was also merit scholarship. So merit scholarships at all early action schools that he was accepted at!
Thank you so much for your help.....now to try to figure out the right match! He never would have been able to apply early action without your help!
Our daughter got into Colby!!! Dijon program. She is beyond happy. Thank you so much for all your support. Edith, she LOVED you and you were simply incredible with her through this whole process. If you guys ever need a reference - have them call me!
Thanks again!!!
Sarah,
Thank you very much for your time and counsel this morning. My wife and I are both impressed by and grateful for you perspective. Honestly, no one we have met with over the past 10 years posses such a keen awareness and understanding of the challenges our daughter faces. We promise to stay in touch.
Edith,
I’m sure we will talk to you but just wanted to say thank you for everything over the past year. Our son is thrilled to be going to Providence and perhaps even more importantly he’s feeling so good about the college process overall and how he got to this point.
He said you “were the perfect match” for him as a college advisor and we appreciate your approach to the whole process.
I trust the firm, the honesty and the ethical and professional manner in which all counselors behave.Working with Kim and McMillan gives you the benefit of having other consultants review the docs as well given that the folks in this firm work in collaboration as part of one team. I call it the wisdom in a crowd of many. It is hard to get this with independent consultants. This is the final point that sold me as a parent.
